iPhone 16 Pro Max in Nepal: start with a written quote

A price page is useful for comparison, but it is not a reservation or a promise that a particular iPhone is on a Dhangadhi shelf. We checked GadgetByte's iPhone 16 Pro Max article and product page on 25 October 2026 and found different figures. This guide keeps those references separate rather than presenting one as a confirmed NikoDeal selling price.

Before paying, ask for the exact storage, colour, model number, condition and final price in writing. Confirm invoice details and warranty terms for that specific unit. An article cannot establish a phone's import history or registration status.

Published prices disagree

GadgetByte's article table lists the 256GB version at NPR 207,900, 512GB at NPR 245,500 and 1TB at NPR 284,000. Its introductory price sentence says NPR 207,000 for the base model, so that page also contains an internal mismatch.

GadgetByte's separate product page lists lower figures: NPR 197,000 for 256GB, NPR 235,500 for 512GB and NPR 274,000 for 1TB. These are observed page figures, checked on 25 October 2026. We have not verified which figure a seller will honour at checkout.

Use those differences as a reason to request a current written quote, not as proof of an available discount. This article does not confirm NikoDeal stock, a counter price, depot stock, delivery timing or a reservation service. Check the smartphone catalog, then confirm the exact listing with the store.

Hardware worth checking against your needs

Apple lists the iPhone 16 Pro Max with a 6.9-inch OLED display, A18 Pro chip and storage options of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. Its camera system includes a 48MP Fusion camera, 48MP ultrawide camera and a 5x telephoto camera. Apple also lists Camera Control and 4K Dolby Vision recording up to 120fps using the Fusion camera.

These are manufacturer specifications, not a NikoDeal performance test. A supported recording mode does not guarantee unlimited recording without heat limits. Likewise, a display's maximum refresh rate does not guarantee every game runs at that rate. Compare the apps, file sizes and camera functions you actually need before paying more for a larger storage version.

Check the regional model too. Physical SIM and eSIM arrangements can differ by market. Ask which arrangement the specific unit supports and whether it works with your intended carrier. Do not infer compatibility from the product name alone.

MDMS: check the actual device, not a blanket claim

NTA's MDMS individual-registration page provides a process for eligible phones brought into Nepal for personal use under the applicable legal facility. It asks for device details, email verification, personal and arrival information, and supporting documents. NTA reviews the application and sends an approval or rejection decision.

That process is not the same as saying every privately imported iPhone is illegal or will be permanently blocked after a fixed number of days. This guide makes no such deadline claim. Follow current NTA guidance for your circumstances, check the device details and keep the relevant purchase or import documents. A seller's verbal assurance is not a substitute for checking the actual phone.

Warranty and invoice questions

Ask who provides the warranty, how long it lasts, what is excluded and where service is handled. Keep the invoice and written terms. A distributor promotion, retailer protection plan and Apple's limited warranty are different things; do not combine them into one blanket promise.

Apple's warranty terms say service may be restricted to the country where Apple or an authorised distributor originally sold the device. That does not support a universal claim that every service provider accepts or rejects a phone solely on the wording of a Nepal invoice. Verify coverage for the specific unit with the responsible provider before buying.

Financing and total cost

This guide does not confirm bank partnerships, a zero-interest offer, a down-payment percentage or same-day collection. Ask the store for any current financing offer in writing. Compare the deposit, fees, insurance if applicable, repayment period and total repayment, along with eligibility and late-payment terms.

For an outright purchase, include any separately purchased charger, case and delivery charge in the comparison. Choose the phone because it meets your needs at a verified total cost, not because an older article looks like a live price board.
