Nikodeal Pvt. Ltd. ("NikoDeal", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal privacy. We collect only the information necessary to fulfill your electronics orders, deliver authentic products across Nepal, provide genuine brand warranties and NTA MDMS registrations, send transactional push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging, and assist you through our physical Dhangadhi showroom and digital support channels.
1Information We Collect
When you use our website or mobile applications, we collect several categories of information to provide seamless e-commerce services:
A. Personal & Contact Details
Your full name, mobile phone number (10-digit Nepal mobile), email address, and billing/shipping addresses (Province, District, City, and Ward/Street landmark). This information is required to process and deliver your purchases.
B. Device & Push Notification Identifiers (FCM)
When you install our Android or iOS mobile application, we register a unique Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device push token, device manufacturer/model, and operating system version. This allows us to send critical order status updates, Pathao courier rider alerts, and opted-in flash deal notifications. We do NOT track your device across unrelated third-party apps or websites.
C. Transactions & 13% IRD VAT Billing Records
Order history, items purchased, product serial numbers / 15-digit IMEIs, warranty activation timestamps, payment reference numbers (eSewa, Fonepay, Khalti, or COD confirmation), and tax invoice details.
D. Customer Support & RMA Service Tickets
Communication logs from Live Chat, WhatsApp Showroom messages, device repair diagnostics at our Hasanpur Lab counter, and customer inquiries.
2How We Use Your Information
- Order Fulfillment & Doorstep Delivery: Sharing your delivery address, recipient name, and phone number with verified logistics partners (such as Pathao Courier Nepal and Sundar Yatayat Express) to deliver your packages.
- NTA MDMS & Official Warranty Registration: Registering official 15-digit IMEIs with the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) MDMS database and authorized brand service networks (Apple Genxt, Samsung IMS, Dell).
- Transactional SMS & Mobile Push Alerts: Sending you immediate order confirmations, delivery rider tracking links, and service repair completion notifications.
- 0% Bank EMI & Kistabandi Verification: Verifying eligibility for commercial bank EMI (Nabil, NIC Asia, Global IME) or in-house showroom financing for verified Sudurpashchim residents.
- Fraud Prevention & Legal Compliance: Complying with Nepal's Electronic Transactions Act 2063, Consumer Protection Act 2075, and Inland Revenue Department (IRD) VAT accounting regulations.
3Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with reputable infrastructure and logistics providers who operate under strict data protection terms:
Provides secure authentication, push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging), and analytics.
Logistics provider receiving package delivery addresses and recipient phone numbers for doorstep drops across Nepal.
Licensed Nepal Rastra Bank payment service operators processing digital payments securely via QR code and web checkout.
Telecom gateway providers delivering OTP codes and urgent delivery updates to Nepal Telecom and Ncell numbers.
4Mobile App Permissions Disclosures
In compliance with Google Play Store Developer Policies and Apple App Store Review Guidelines, our mobile applications request only the minimal permissions required for functionality:
Used solely to notify you when your order is packed, shipped, out for delivery, or when opted-in flash deals go live. You can disable this permission at any time in system settings.
Required to load live tech inventory, sync shopping carts, verify IMEI warranty records, and communicate with the NikoDeal backend API.
In accordance with Google Play and Apple App Store requirements, all customers have the absolute right to request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.
- Your login credentials, saved delivery addresses, and personal contact profile are permanently purged.
- Your device push notification tokens are unregistered from Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Your saved cart and loyalty points balance will be deleted.
- Note: Past 13% IRD VAT tax invoices must be retained for the minimum statutory period mandated by Nepal tax laws for tax auditing purposes.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Global Standards)
NikoDeal does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will immediately delete that information from our servers.
