Realme 16 5G Nepal Launch: NPR 64,999 Price and Buyer Checklist
A new arrival at NPR 64,999
Realme 16 5G has reached Nepal today, October 9, according to TechLekh. The reported price is NPR 64,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The headline feature is a 7,000mAh battery in a phone with a 6.57-inch screen. But at this price, the camera options and processor deserve as much attention as the battery.
Why you may see a different price online
GadgetByte's April article still carries expected Nepal prices from before the local launch. TechLekh's October 9 report is newer and gives NPR 64,999 for the Nepal configuration. This guide uses that reported launch price, not the earlier estimate. NikoDeal's own quote and availability still need to be checked.
The case for the Realme 16
Realme's official global page confirms a 7,000mAh typical battery, 60W charging and 50MP front and rear cameras. The Nepal report lists a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. If a clear display and battery capacity are high on your list, those are useful features to compare. Don't turn the manufacturer's battery-health lab claims into a promise that your phone will run for a fixed number of days or retain a fixed capacity.
The camera questions to ask
The cited Nepal report lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor, with no ultrawide camera or optical image stabilization. It also reports 1080p video rather than 4K. That matters if you take wide group photos or record while walking. A 50MP label on both sides does not tell you how those shots will look. Check examples that match what you actually shoot.
And the performance question
The listed processor is Dimensity 6400 Turbo. Before spending NPR 64,999, compare the phone with other models near that price, especially if demanding games are your main use. There is no need to reject a phone simply because it is not a gaming flagship; just avoid paying for features that do not solve your problem.
The preorder gift has a deadline
TechLekh described a Buds T100 gift during October 1-6 prebooking. That period has ended. Ask for the current written offer instead of assuming the gift comes with an October 9 purchase.
Before you buy
Confirm the 8GB/256GB Nepal variant, sealed-box contents, written warranty and final total. Ask NikoDeal whether it is available and what else is worth comparing at your budget. Does it have an ultrawide? Not in the cited Nepal report. Is 7,000mAh the battery claim? Yes, typical capacity. Is the launch price a NikoDeal offer? No, it is the reported Nepal reference price.
