The Xiaomi Monitor A24i 2026 has a straightforward appeal: a 23.8-inch Full HD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, without moving into a large gaming-monitor setup. GadgetByte Nepal reports a Nepal price of Rs.21,999. That is a dated reference from its launch coverage, checked on October 15, 2026, not a NikoDeal stock or selling-price claim.

For a student building a desk around a laptop, or someone replacing a small office display, the useful question is what the complete setup will do. The refresh-rate number is only one part. Connections, sound and stand adjustment can matter just as much once the monitor is on your desk.

What the 2026 model actually offers

Xiaomi lists model P24FDA-RAGL with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, an IPS panel and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. Its published specifications also include 300-nit brightness, a 1500:1 static contrast ratio and a 6ms response time. These are manufacturer specifications, not results from our own testing.

Check the full model name when asking for a quote. A listing that only says "A24i" does not establish that you are buying this 144Hz 2026 version. Ask to see the model label and the specifications for the actual unit rather than assuming that similar names mean identical screens.

For ordinary documents, browsing and video calls, the appeal is a separate work surface. For games, think of 144Hz as the display's upper limit, not a promise that your computer will run every game at 144 frames per second. Budgeting for a screen does not change what the computer can render.

Check the whole connection, not just the port shape

The official port list is one HDMI 2.0 input, one DisplayPort 1.4 input and a DC power input. Xiaomi includes an HDMI 2.0 cable in its global package list. It specifically recommends the supplied HDMI cable for the maximum 1920 x 1080 resolution at 144Hz, and says other cables and source devices need to support the required output.

Bring the laptop model into the buying conversation. If you need a dock or adapter, ask the seller to confirm the complete laptop-to-adapter-to-monitor combination at the resolution and refresh rate you want. A cable fitting into a socket is not enough evidence that the full chain will deliver that mode.

There are no USB ports on the monitor. That means it is not a one-cable USB-C desk dock: do not expect it to charge a laptop or provide USB sockets for a keyboard and mouse. Those connections need another route. This is an easy detail to miss when comparing it with more expensive office displays.

Plan sound and desk height before paying

GadgetByte lists no built-in speakers, and Xiaomi's support FAQ confirms there is no audio-out port. If your setup depends on monitor sound or plugging headphones into the display, settle that before buying. You may instead need to use the computer's own audio connection or a separate speaker setup.

The supplied stand supports tilt, but Xiaomi's FAQ says there is no height adjustment, swivel or pivot. Its official specifications list 75 x 75mm mounting holes, and the product page says a wall-mount bracket is a separate purchase.

Measure the desk and sitting position rather than treating the stand as an afterthought. If a monitor arm is part of your plan, check its mounting pattern, supported weight and clearance against the actual monitor. Compare the total setup cost, including any arm, adapter or audio equipment, with a display that already includes the features you need.

Read colour and HDR claims carefully

Xiaomi advertises 99% sRGB coverage and average Delta E below 1. Its own notes say the factory calibration is in sRGB mode and that the colour-space setting must be enabled manually. The documented route is Picture mode, then Colour space, then sRGB. These remain Xiaomi's claims; we have not measured the panel's colour accuracy.

The official FAQ also confirms HDR10 support, but says the screen has no local dimming and no VESA DisplayHDR certification. Do not buy it on the assumption that the HDR label alone guarantees a high-end HDR experience. If accurate colour or HDR editing is the reason for the purchase, seek measurements and a demonstration that match that work.

A sensible final check

Ask for the exact 2026 model, connect your intended computer, and confirm that the desired display mode is available. Check text at your normal sitting distance, confirm how you will hear audio, and make sure the fixed-height stand suits the desk.

You can browse NikoDeal's current catalog for listed computers and accessories. That link does not mean this monitor is stocked. Confirm the exact model, current quote and included accessories before ordering. The best fit is the complete desk setup, not simply the largest refresh-rate number on a price card.
